Stock market to remain closed for nine days

The market will open on August 18
Stock market is going to be closed for nine days on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha – from August 9 to August 17.
Bangladeshi Muslims will celebrate Eid-ul-Adha on August 12.
The regular holidays for the festival will be a four-day break across sectors, but adding Fridays and Saturdays, the weekends, it is going to be longer for stock market professionals, said exchange officials.
The market will open on August 18, they added.
