The authorities of Bashundhara City Shopping Complex, Jamuna Future Park, Dhaka's busiest New Market, Mouchak and Anarkoli markets have decided not to reopen their markets before Eid amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

Shop owners associations and market leaders of Cox's Bazar, Chattogram and Mymensingh cities have also decided not to reopen shops and shopping malls ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr considering the risk of Covid-19 spread.
