34 exhibitors represent Bangladesh in Frankfurt Ambiente trade fair

From Bangladesh, major products were ceramics, handicrafts, decorative items and kitchen accessories

A total of 34 exhibitors from Bangladesh participated in the international trade fair Ambiente 2020 in Frankfurt, Germany. 

The five-day fair ended today by making new records of around 4,500 exhibitors from 92 countries. More than 1, 36,000 buyers also visited the fair. 

Ambiente trade fair is the world's number one in products associated with dining, cooking, household items, furnishings and ornaments, interior design, gifts, jewelry and fashion accessories. 

From Bangladesh, major products were ceramics, handicrafts, decorative items and kitchen accessories.

Bangladeshi stands were seen busy with trade inquiries and buyers from USA, Spain, and Turkey, France and other European and Central Asian countries.

Bangladesh Textiles and Jute ministry's three officials – Secretary Lokman Hossain Miah, Additional Secretary Mohammad Abul Kalam and Assistant Private Secretary to Hon'ble Minister (APS) Emdadul Haque attended the fair. 

The officials cherished the Bangladeshi entrepreneurs by saying that for consumer goods, Ambiente is a famous fair in the world, we have talked with the exhibitors, their responses are very positive. 

The exhibitors also said that almost all of their customers are visiting the fair and they are also getting new orders. 

Md Saiful Islam, Bangladeshi Commercial Counselor in Germany, also visited the show. He attended each Bangladeshi stand and appreciated their products displayed.

Bangladesh has been participating in Ambiente for many years and a number of industries have been developed from this fair such as ceramics and jute products. 

Bangladeshi exhibitors of jute products were located in hall 10.3, 10.1, 10.2 & 9.3 (Giving & Living Global sourcing) while the other companies in hall 6.1, 10.4, 4.2 (Dining/Global sourcing).

Monno Ceramic has been participating for many years but this time they have appeared first time in Hall 4.2 (entitled for Dining section)

Rasheed Mymunul Islam, managing director of Monno Ceramic Industries was very happy with the edition and said "We exhibit in Ambiente every year since 1988. From our humble beginnings in Hall 10 where we started as a small company exhibiting in the Bangladesh Pavilion, we have become a global brand now exhibiting in the prestigious Hall 4.2.
