DSEX, the prime index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) fell amid investors selling pressure to booked quick gain in the first one and half hour of trading session on Monday.

In this session, DSE, the main index DSEX lost 2.81 points or 0.05% to 5,123.

However, the benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) rose 39 points to 14,726.

Turnover of the DSE trading floor also fell by 3% to Tk387.24crore during the period till 11:30 am.

Moreover, DSE shariah index DSES rose 2.75 points to 1,183 and blue-chip index DS30 fell 0.02 points to 1,798.

Following the investors movement 134 companies share price rose, while 134 issues fell and 83 remain unchanged during the session at the DSE.
