Stocks rise amid surging turnover

Indices of both Dhaka and Chattogram stock exchange witnessed an upward trend over investors participation increased to buy shares in the first hour on Thursday.
During this session, DSEX, the key index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rose by 0.71% or 38.95 points to 5,461 till 11 am
DSE turnover surged by 35% to Tk512.76 crore in the first trading hour.
During this period, 182 companies' share price advanced, while 76 companies' share price declined and 77 issues' price remained unchanged at the DSE.
Beximco Limited secure the apex position in the turnover chart at the DSE.
The benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) gained by 62 points to 15,853 till 11 am.
