Indices of the both stock exchanges witnessed an upward trend amid investors selling pressure in the first one-and-half hour of trading session on Tuesday.
DSEX, the key index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rose by 0.03% or 1.90 points to settle at 5,387 till 11:30 am.
While, 146 companies share price rose, 63 issues fell and 97 issues price remain unchanged during the session at the DSE.
During this session, DSE turnover jumped by 32% to Tk245.46 crore.
The benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) gained 1.11 points to 15,566 till 11:30 am
