Stocks open with moderate gain

DSE trading floor fell 3 percent to Tk286.26crore during the period till 11:30am

Indices of the both stock exchanges posted moderate gains on Thursday in the first one-and-half hour of trading session.

However, turnover of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) trading floor fell 3 percent to Tk286.26crore during the period till 11:30am.

In this session, DSE main index, DSEX rose by 25.37 points or 0.51% to 4,960.

The benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) gain 63 points to 14,221.

Moreover, the Shariah-based DSES index also gained 5.94 points to 1,132 and blue-chip index DS30 rose 11.71 points to 1,716.

Following the investors movement 211 companies share price rose, while 55 issues fell and 78 remain unchanged during the session at the DSE.
