Stocks jump after 2-day massive fall

Beximco is leading the turnover chart at DSE

Indices of the both stock exchanges jumped as investors pouring money to buy shares at low rate in the first one-and-half hour of trading session on Tuesday.

According to market insider, in the last two consecutive days stocks saw a massive fall and most of the company's share price decreased. Now, most of the investors are buying shares.

DSEX, the key index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) jumped by 1.54% or 83 points to reached at 5,459 till 11:30 am.

During this session, DSE turnover rose by 20% to Tk312.54 crore.

Beximco is leading the turnover chart at DSE.

Moreover, DSE Shariah index DSES gained 1.27% to 1,230 points and the blue-chip index DS30 rose 1.99% to 2,063 points.

During this session, 227 companies share price rose, while 18 issues fell and 80 issues price remain unchanged during the session at the DSE.

The benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) jumped by 203 points to 15,722 till 11:30 am.
