Indices of both stock exchanges witnessed an upward trend in the first one-and-half hour of trading session on Monday.

DSEX, the key index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rose by 0.80% or 44 points to reached at 5,491 till 11:30 am.

While, 179 companies share price rose, 44 issues fell, and 102 issues price remain unchanged during the session at the DSE.

During the session, DSE turnover stood at Tk367.78 crore.

The benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) gained 168 points to 15,954 till 11:30 am.
