Stocks flourish amid surging turnover

Indices of both stock exchanges witnessed upturn amid surging turnover in the first one and half hour trading session on Thursday.
Turnover of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) trading floor also rose by 19% to Tk352.42 crore till 11:30 am.
In this session, DSE main index DSEX gained 22.26 points or 0.43% to 5,092.
The benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) rose 57.78 points to 14,588.
Moreover, DSE shariah index DSES rose 3.72 points to 1,167 and blue-chip index DS30 gain 10.51 points to 1,777.
Following the investors' movement, 161 companies' share price rose, while 81 issues fell and 108 issues price remained unchanged during the session at the DSE.
