Indices of both stock exchanges bounced back after two days fall in the first hour on Wednesday.
During this session, DSEX, the key index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rose 0.47% or 25.68 points to 5,448 till 11:00 am.
DSE turnover surged by 15% to Tk376.75 crore in the first trading hour.
During this period, 176 companies' share price advanced, while 86 companies' share price declined and 69 issues' price remained unchanged during the session at the DSE.
Beximco Limited secured the apex position in the turnover chart at the DSE.
The benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) gained 60 points to 15,723 till 11:00 am.
