DSEX rose by 28.48 points or 0.56% to 5,103 and CASPI climbed 64.63 points to 14,659 till 11:30am

Turnover, a significant market indicator, of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) jumped by 82 percent to Tk497.84 crore in the first one-and-half-hour trading session on Monday.

DSEX, the key index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), rose by 28.48 points or 0.56% to 5,103 till 11:30am.

Moreover, DSE Shariah-based DSES index gained 8.34 points to 1,178 and blue-chip index DS30 rose 13.80 points to 1,807 in the corresponding period.

Out of the 340 issues traded during the same time frame, DSE had 154 gainers against 105 losers, while prices of 81 scrips remained unchanged.

Meanwhile, the benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) climbed 64.63 points to 14,659.

Of the total 176 issues traded till then, 76 gained, 51 declined, and 49 issues remained unchanged with Tk11.7 crore in turnover.
