Ahsanur made acting CEO of Brac EPL Brokerage

Ahsanur Rahman has been appointed the chief executive officer (Acting) of Brac EPL Stock Brokerage.
The board of the firm announced his appointment on August 6, following the exit of Sherief MA Rahman, the outgoing CEO.
According to a Brac EPL statement, prior to assuming the role of acting CEO, Ahsanur was head of International Trade and Sales and head of the Institutional Business Unit at the brokerage house.
Before joining the Brac EPL team in November 2009, he worked as a trader at AM Securities and also gained experience in operations and settlement at Union Capital Ltd.
In his 13 years of experience in Bangladesh's capital market, he has developed and maintained his relationships with international brokers and fund managers that help him bring foreign portfolio investment into the country's stock market.
Ahsanur graduated summa cum laude from East West University in finance.
During his career, he attended numerous training sessions, seminars and workshops on different aspects of being a stockbroker and investment banking – in the country and abroad.
Brac EPL Stock Brokerage Ltd is a subsidiary of Brac Bank Limited and one of the leading stockbrokers in the country.
