Workshop on sustainability reporting held in Dhaka

A workshop titled "Sustainability Reporting" was held at Gulshan Club in the capital on Sunday to initiate the alignment of Bangladeshi garment factories with Sustainable Development Goals and national priority indicators of the government.

The United Nations Development Programme and the Global Reporting Initiative in collaboration with the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers & Exporters Association organised the programme, said a press release.  

BGMEA President Dr Rubana Huq delivered welcome remarks at the workshop.

Global Reporting Initiative South Asia's sustainability expert Pallavi Atre conducted the session and UNDP's private sector specialist Linda Germanis facilitated the programme.

BGMEA standing committee on SDG Affairs' chairperson Wasim Zakariah also spoke on the occasion.
