HSL launches 'SSDC 21' contest
The aim of the contest is to acknowledge the talent of emerging designers and encourage them on their way to higher sustainability and responsibility
Hera Sweaters Limited (HSL), a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certified sweater factory in Bangladesh, has launched "Sustainable Sweater Design Contest 2021 (SSDC 21)".
The aim of the contest is to acknowledge the talent of emerging designers and encourage them on their way to higher sustainability and responsibility, said a press release.
The "SSDC 21" competition which will be judged by an acclaimed panel of reputed designers comprising Bibi Russell (Bangladesh), Emma McClelland (UK), Aysen Bayram (UK) and Mohammad Iftekhar Rahman (Bangladesh).
The last date of designs of SSDC 21 is 20 February, 2021. Top 3 designers will get prize money of $1,000, $700 and $500 respectively.
The 20 shortlisted designers will receive a Certificate of Merit, and an opportunity to showcase their designs through exhibitions, the press release reads.
