Rezaul, Kaiser to lead BCS Taxation Association

The election was held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre on Friday

The BCS Taxation Association on Saturday elected its president and general secretary for one year.   

Md Rezaul Karim Chowdhury, tax commissioner from 10th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) batch, and Mohammad Fazley Ahad Kaiser, joint tax commissioner from 20th BCS batch, were elected president and general secretary respectively. 

The new committee comprising the president, general secretary and other members were elected for 2020-2021. 

The executive council's election was held in the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the capital on Friday. 

Besides, tax commissioners Md Iqbal Hossin, Md Nazmul Karim, and first secretary to the National Board of Revenue Khandaker Khurshid Kamal were elected vice-presidents. 

Joint tax commissioners Sayiduzzaman Bhuiyan and Md Aminul Karim Munshi were elected joint general secretaries. While, Additional Tax Commissioner Kabir Uddin Molla has been elected treasurer.

Deputy tax commissioners Golam Kibria and Md Sazzadul Islam Mir were elected publication and publicity secretary and assistant publication and publicity secretary respectively.
