He was the MD of Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank previously.

Rafiqul Alam new MD of BASIC Bank

Rafiqul Alam has been appointed as the managing director of state-owned BASIC Bank for the next three years.

The Financial Institutions Division sent a letter, signed by Deputy Secretary Sayed Kutub, to Bangladesh Bank and BASIC Bank on Tuesday regarding the appointment.

Before his new appointment, Rafiqul Alam worked as the managing director of Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank.
