Programme held to promote ‘Made in Bangladesh’ Doha exhibition
The trade exhibition is going to be held from December 10 to 12
Leaders of Bangladesh Forum Qatar and the Bangladesh Embassy organised an outreach programme to promote the upcoming "Made in Bangladesh exhibition" at the Radisson Blu Hotel Doha on Tuesday.
The trade exhibition is going to be held from December 10 to 12 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre to showcase Bangladeshi products and build bridges between businessmen.
Bangladesh Forum Qatar and the Bangladesh Embassy will jointly organise the event, which is the first ever Bangladeshi trade fair in Qatar.
Ambassador of Bangladesh to Qatar Ashud Ahmed along with other high officials of the embassy were present at the outreach event, moderated by one of the organizing members of "Made in Bangladesh" event Israt Ara Younus.
"The leading companies from 18 dedicated sectors in Bangladesh such as agriculture, cement, ceramic, fashion, wire & cable etc have been invited to join the exhibition," said Israt Ara Younus.
Vice president of Bangladesh Forum Qatar and team leader of "Made in Bangladesh" event Yusuf Saeed presented the details of 18 major sectors of Bangladesh.
He also gave details about the venue management, stall information, opportunities of local business community in Qatar and other useful information about the "Made in Bangladesh" exhibition.
First Secretary Md Mahbur Rahman mentioned that the "Made in Bangladesh" is part of Bangladesh Government's efforts to boost up economic diplomacy.
He also said that the embassy has been working with concerned authorities in Bangladesh as well as in Qatar to make the event successful.
Ambassador Ashud Ahmed emphasized that collective efforts from each member of the Bangladesh community is essential to imprint the perception about true Bangladesh in the host society.
