Pathao users, riders to get new features
Pathao has introduced live chat support through which users and riders can chat with Pathao Support in messenger
Pathao, the largest ride-sharing platform in Bangladesh, has brought some new features for its users and riders.
The new features include digital transaction, adjusting driver’s dues through Pathao app, voice instruction training for drivers, and live chat support for everyone, said a press release on Thursday.
The users can now make their digital payment through a one-step process by saving their bKash account number to the app. The users have to provide their pin number only while the process previously required multiple steps.
In the case of Pathao freelance drivers, paying commission to Pathao was a slightly lengthy process. Drivers can now pay directly from the Pathao Drive app, using third-party digital payment services, such as bKash and cards.
The voice instruction feature is an in-app pre-recorded voice instruction training with troubleshooting processes. These voice instructions allow drivers to solve most of the issues by themselves. It also includes the answers to the common questions asked by the riders and captains on a regular basis.
Pathao has introduced live chat support through which users and riders can chat with Pathao Support in messenger. Live chat is already available on its Facebook Messenger and will be very soon available in the Pathao app.
Pathao Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Co-founder Hussain M Elius said: “Pathao always strives to make its services faster and more convenient. We have decided to add these new features to give our users a better experience than before.”
“I firmly believe these new features will help us in our continuous efforts of moving Bangladesh forward,” added the CEO.
