Cricketer Shakib, Actor Shakib Khan, Singer Tahsan among top taxpayers

Cricketer Shakib Al Hasan, Film Actor Shakib Khan and Singer Tahsan Khan have been announced as top taxpayers in their respective fields under the individual category in the fiscal year 2019-20.
The Internal Resources Division (IRD) of Ministry of Finance has issued a gazette notification on Tuesday night, disclosing the names of 76 top taxpayers of different professions under the category.
Like previous years, the National Board of Revenue (NBR) will issue tax cards to the best taxpayers.
The world's top cricket all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has now topped the taxpayers' list under the player sub-category of the individual category, followed by Tamim Iqbal and Mashrafe Bin Mortaza.
Besides, popular film actor, Shakib Khan Rana has been the top taxpayer in his field. In the actor-actress sub-category, the following places are occupied by Bidya Sinha Mim and Raisul Islam Asad respectively.
Renowned Model and Singer Tahsan Rahman Khan has been topper on the list of best taxpayers among the singers. He is followed by Momtaz Begum MP and Shaheen Samad.
Apart from these, the Hakimpuri Jarda business baron, Kaus Miah retained the position of top taxpayer under the sub-category of businessman. The list includes former communications minister Syed Abul Hossain, Exim Bank chairman Nazrul Islam Majumder and so on.
