ICMAB gets new president, secy
Jasim Uddin Akond and Munirul Islam have been elected ICMAB president and secretary respectively for 2020
The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) has elected its new committee for the term 2020, with Md Jasim Uddin Akond as president and Md Munirul Islam as secretary, said an ICMAB press release on Sunday.
Other office bearers are — Abu Bakar Siddique and Md Mamunur Rashid (vice-presidents), and Md Ali Haider Chowdhury (treasurer).
The newly-elect president of the institute Jasim Uddin Akond is currently working as the comptroller to the Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET). Before his new role, he served the ICMAB four terms as the secretary.

Md Munirul Islam is currently working as the head of the Human Resources Department at Aristopharma Limited. Previously, he served the ICMAB as the chairman of its Dhaka Branch Council.
