The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) has organized a special series of workshops on cost audit at on Sunday.

The workshop took place at the ICMAB Ruhul Quddus Auditorium, ICMAB Bhaban, Dhaka, reads a press release on Monday.

Anwar-ul Alam Chowdhury, president, Bangladesh Chamber of Industries (BCI) and former president of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) was present as the chief guest at the 'cost audit in garments sector' session.

AKM Delwer Hussain FCMA, president of SAFA was present as a special guest on the occasion. The resource person was Indian cost audit expert CMA P Raju Iyer.

Md Jasim Uddin Akand FCMA, president, ICMAB, presided over the workshop, while Md Ali Haider Chowdhury FCMA, treasurer, ICMAB conducted the programme.

ASM Shaykhul Islam FCMA, chairman of the Cost Audit and Professional Consultancy Cell Committee and Abu Bakar Siddique FCMA, vice president of ICMAB also attended the programme.
