NSU MIBC opens registration for MarXcellence 2026
Registrations have opened for MarXcellence 2026, a flagship digital marketing case competition organised by the Marketing and International Business Club of North South University.
The competition is presented by Dhaka Bank PLC, co-sponsored by Transcom Group and powered by Vatika Naturals.
It is open to undergraduate students from all academic disciplines in Bangladesh and abroad. Participants can compete in teams of two to four members, while cross-university teams are also eligible.
The competition is designed to give students practical exposure to contemporary digital marketing challenges through a structured three-round format.
In the first round, titled "The Xploration Phase", participants will solve a real-world digital marketing case online.
Selected teams will advance to "The Xpression Studio", where they will develop an online video commercial along with a comprehensive marketing strategy pitch.
The competition will conclude with "The Xcellence Showdown", where finalist teams will present their solutions before a panel of industry professionals and academics.
The opening workshop is scheduled to be held at North South University on 10 July, 2026, with a hybrid participation option available for international teams.
MarXcellence 2026 offers a total prize pool of Tk5.2 lakh. The champion team will receive Tk2.25 lakh, the first runner-up team Tk1.5 lakh, and the second runner-up team Tk1 lakh. The remaining three finalist teams will receive Tk15,000 each.
The competition is being organised under the leadership of the North South University Marketing and International Business Club Executive Body 2025–26.
The executive body comprises President Tanvir Anjum Rakin, General Secretary Isha Bin Mahmud Mahi, Treasurer Srijan Banik, Vice President Lamia Binte Islam, Joint Secretary of Creative and Internal Affairs SM Rafsan Mashrur, Joint Secretary of Publications Syeda Saniha Zarin, and Joint Secretary of Logistics Syed Yusuf Tehami Quadry.
Through MarXcellence 2026, the Marketing and International Business Club of North South University aims to provide students with a platform to develop industry-relevant skills, present innovative solutions and engage with professionals in digital marketing.
Registration closes at 11:59pm on 8 July, 2026.
