Under the initiative and financing of Jamuna Bank Foundation, patients with eye, gynecological, diabetes problems received free healthcare service

A free medical camp was organised for unprivileged people was organised at Char Mdhua Primary School at Raypura in Narsingdi district.

Under the initiative and financing of Jamuna Bank Foundation, patients with eye, gynecological, diabetes problems received free healthcare service, reads a press release on Sunday.  

Jamuna Bank Foundation chairman Al-Haj Nur Mohammed inaugurated the programme as the chief guest.

Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed, managing director and CEO of Jamuna Bank Limited, presided over the programme while special guests deputy director Md Abdus Salam and local social worker Ahasan Shikder, among others, were present at the programme.

Around 4,000 patients have been given free treatment with medicines and 320 eye patients have been selected for free eye operation through the medical camp, it added.

Also, Jamuna Bank Foundation Chairman Al-Haj Nur Mohammed and the bank's managing director and CEO Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed inaugurated a month-long tree plantation programme.
