ICMAB delegates meet Commerce Secretary

Representatives of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) met Commerce Secretary Tapan Kanti Ghosh on Tuesday.

The delegation was led by ICMAB President Abu Bakar Siddique, FCMA, read a press release.

During the visit, the ICMAB President updated the secretary about the overall state of affairs of the institute, highlighting development issues of the CMA profession.

Siddique also sought the help of the commerce secretary for further development of ICMAB.

Commerce Secretary Tapan Kanti Ghosh gave assurance of his continued support and assistance to ICMAB.

Past President of ICMAB and Current President of South Asian Federation of Accountants (Safa) AKM Delwer Hussain, FCMA, was also present at the meeting.

From ICMAB, Secretary Kazi Muhammad Ziauddin, FCMA, Treasurer AKM Kamruzzaman, FCMA, and Executive Director Muhammad Abdullah were present.
