Cows from Alamgir Ranch Limited will be are available at "Evaly Gorur Haat" during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Evaly and Alamgir Ranch in this regard on Tuesday, said a Evaly press release.
Evaly chairman Shamima Nasrin, Managing Director and Chief Executive Mohammad Rassel, Alamgir Ranch Limited Director and Labib Group Vice Chairman Sultana Jahan, Labib Group Chairman Salahuddin Alamgir and other senior officials from both organisations were present at the signing ceremony.
According to the release, Evaly and Alamgir Ranch orchestrated this coordinated effort to bring bring sacrificial cows to customers' doorsteps in accordance with Covid-19 sanitary guidelines in time for the impending Eid-ul-Azha.
Evaly authorities will deliver the cows to the customer's designated place at the stated time if a customer decided to buy the cows of Alamgir Ranch from Evaly's online sacrificial animal market. It is the responsibility of Alamgir Ranch to take care of all the cows till the sacrifice if buyers buy a cow from 'Evaly Gorur Haat' now.
The consumer is not responsible for any costs associated with the care of cows. Furthermore, even if the cow's weight grows during this time, the purchaser is not charged an additional fee for the extra weight, the release said.
Furthermore, the sacrificial cows will be safely delivered to the customer three to four days before Eid, as per the demand of the customer, the release said.
Mentioning the initiative timely, Sultana Jahan, Director, Alamgir Ranch Limited, said, "Through Evaly, we wish to supply healthy and safe cows to people all around the country. May the people of our country sacrifice the best cow on the Holy Eid of Sacrifice; we and Evaly are working together on this."
Chief Executive of Evaly Mohammad Rassel said, "We are delighted that Alamgir Ranch has signed a contract with us. Customers will be able to purchase Alamgir Ranch animals from Evaly with ease this Eid-ul-Azha. Hopefully, we will be able to provide the finest possible service."
The signing ceremony was attended by Arif R Hossain, Chief Marketing Officer, Evaly, Tarikul Kamrul, Chief Operating Officer, and Sajjad Alam, Head of Commercial, among others.
