Bida to provide 6 services at OSS centre
Bida e-services will be closed by January 31 and will be available at the OSS centre
The Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (Bida) will provide six services through its One Stop Service (OSS) centre from February 1 this year, according to a press release issued yesterday.
The six services counted as permission to establish a branch, liaison or representative office (new), permission to set up an office (term extension), visa recommendations (new); Visa on Arrival (new), issuance of work permit and term extension of work permit.
The authority has been providing these services through the OSS and also through e-service system since February last year. They will close its e-service by January 31 while the services will be available at OSS centre, the press release reads.
Bida started OSS operations since February 24, 2019 to provide all services to the investors, and currently the OSS is providing 18 services – 14 of them from BIDA and remaining four is from other relevant government agencies.
