BB slashes private sector credit growth target
In the last fiscal year the private sector credit growth fell to a six-year low of 11.3 percent.

The Bangladesh Bank has slashed private sector credit growth to 14.8 percent from the previous target of 16.5 percent in the monetary policy for the current fiscal year.
Bangladesh Bank Governor Fazle Kabir unveiled the monetary policy on Wednesday and termed it "cautiously accommodative".
