Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd launches e-account service

Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited officially launched e-account banking on 24 March with the aim of providing fast banking services to its clients. 

From now on, a customer can open an e-account easily and securely while staying home. To open an e-account, a customer only needs to have a valid National Identity Card (NID). Customers with e-accounts will be able to conduct all types of banking activities from home. 

Md Sanaullah Sahid, Chairman, Board of Directors of the Bank inaugurated the e-account Banking service as the Chief Guest. The Managing Director & CEO of the Bank M Shahidul Islam also spoke at the event. Head of Banking Operations Division of the Bank Md Naquibul Islam presented an overall feature on e-account opening and its benefits.

Among others, the Directors Akkas Uddin Mollah, Mohiuddin Ahmed, Khandaker Shakib Ahmed, Fakir Akhteruzzaman, the Additional Managing Directors Abdul Aziz & S M Mainuddin Chowdhury, the Deputy Managing Directors Md Shahjahan Shiraj, M Akhter Hossain, Mian Quamrul Hasan Chowdhury, Imtiaz U Ahmed & Nasim Sekander were also present in the programme.
