SJIBL donates ambulance to Samman Sahabi

Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) donated a Toyota Hiace ambulance to an old-age rehabilitation and technical education support provider named Samman Sahabi on Sunday.

The ambulance was donated to provide volunteer services to destitute people in Nawabganj upazila, read a press release.

The donation was a part of the bank's corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities. Md Sanaullah Shahid, chairman of the bank, handed over a copy of the vehicle's keys to Md Tofazzal Hossain, director of Samman Sahabi.

Akkas Uddin Mollah, director and former chairman of SJIBL; Mohammed Golam Quddus, director of the bank; and M Shahidul Islam, managing director and CEO of the bank were present at the event.

The directors of Samman Sahabi – Md Jasim Uddin, Muhammed Al Hasan, Md Omar Faruk; Md Shamsuddoha, the head of Public Relations and Bank Foundation Division of the bank; and the Company Secretary Md Abul Bashar were also present at the key handover ceremony.
