Sayeed Ahmed new ED of Financial Reporting Council

Md Sayeed Ahmed has joined Financial Reporting Council as its Executive Director for Audit Practice Review Division on December 1, 2019.
Before joining Financial Reporting Council, he was working as Additional Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Delta Life Insurance Company Limited.
Earlier, Md Sayeed Ahmed, a finance and business professional, served the Pubali Bank Ltd as Deputy Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer (CRO).
During his long career in finance and banking sector, he has got experience in the financial administration, credit risk management, treasury management, investment management, core risk management, structured financing and triple bottom line management.
He got first class in B. Com (honors), Masters from Department of Accounting and Information systems of University of Dhaka.
Md Sayeed Ahmed has also MBA credential from IBA, Dhaka University.
He is also a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh, an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Uk, and a Chartered Global Management Accountant.
