Rupali Bank holds virtual meeting

The general managers of Rupali Bank held its last general meeting through video conference on Tuesday.

During the meeting, the bank's managing director and CEO Obaid Ullah Al Masood gave specific instructions on the business strategy of the bank, field level officials and customer protection. He also laid special emphasis on increasing all types of credit activities including disbursement of agricultural loans.

At the time DMD Mohammad Jahangir Alam and Khandaker Ataur Rahman, GM Ashok Kumar Singh Roy, Shafiqul Islam and all GMs of 10 divisional offices across the country were connected through video conference.

Due to the efforts of Rupali Bank's skilled IT officers, it has been possible to conduct virtual activities in the bank by responding quickly to the current situation. That is why all the activities of the bank started virtually from March 29, all kinds of official activities of the bank are running normally.

Earlier, on March 30, Rupali Bank's board meeting was held in online video conferencing, which was the first virtual board meeting of state-owned banks.
