Pubali Bank holds fresh AGM to re-elect directors

Following the High Court's verdict last year, Pubali Bank Limited has held its 37th Annual General Meeting (AGM) to re-elect the directors - as per the guidelines of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC).

Earlier, on 30 July 2020, the bank had held its 37th AGM. But on 27 August, the High Court Division directed the bank to hold a fresh AGM and perform Agenda-5 of its previous 37th AGM and re-elect the directors.

Chairman of Pubali Bank Manjurur Rahman presided over the meeting at the auditorium of the bank's head office, said a press release.

A large number of shareholders participated in the AGM held on physical and virtual platforms in compliance with hygiene rules and maintaining social distance.
