Prime Bank launches interest bearing current account to facilitate CMSMEs

Prime Bank has introduced an interest-bearing current account 'Prime Lenden' to facilitate cottage, micro, small and medium enterprises (CMSMEs).

This business account is designed to bring unbanked CMSMEs across the country under a formal financial system, doing away with the requirement of an initial deposit to open an account.

Customers will avail interest by maintaining a certain balance in this transactional account, says a press release.

The account offers many facilities like business debit card, secure internet banking facility, transactional alerts via SMS, e-statements, utility payment services via altitude, and money transfers or payments to mobile banking wallets.     

Other benefits of Prime Lenden include free 10-leaf cheque book, waiver of inter-branch online charge, free access to ATMs of any banks, periodic e-statement via email, a range of transaction facilities through BEFTN, RTGS, NPSP, DDI and Auto BEFTN, payment of e-commerce transactions via debit card and POS transactions at major shopping outlets.
