Padma bank launches agent banking operation

When the world is at a standstill due to pandemic Covid-19, fourth-generation bank Padma Bank launched Agent Banking to provide banking services at the doorstep of the customer. Formal activities of first agent banking outlet of the bank started at Akhlia under Amadia union of Narsingdi. 

From the agent banking outlet, customers can open new account through finger impression and avail banking services such as new account opening and transaction, remittance through secret PIN, cash deposit and withdrawal, payment of different utility bills, fund transfer, mini-statement, internet banking facility, payment of insurance premium, receipt of clearing cheque, receive application for loan request, loan disbursement-all types of banking facilities can be availed. Besides, online banking facilities throughout the country, real-time transaction, minimum service charge, account opening at the lowest balance, cheque book and debit card facility can be enjoyed by customers-under the umbrella of Padma Bank Agent Banking.

July 29, Wednesday: In Narshingdi's union Akhaliai, the formal activities of agent banking has been inaugurated by Shahadat Hossain, DMD; Zabed Amin, SEVP and Head of business; SEVP and Head of Human Resources Division Ahsan Ullah Khan, Head of Agent Banking Muhammad Zakaria Karim as well as high officials of the division. Besides, local dignitaries welcomed the new endeavor of Padma Bank.
