NRBC Bank inaugurates Bhanga branch in Faridpur

With state-of-the-art banking facilities, the NRB Commercial Bank Limited launched its 76th branch in Bhanga upazila of Faridpur district on Thursday.

The newly launched branch locates at Loknath Bhaban (2nd floor) on 89 Shari Potti in Bhanga Bazar, said a media statement.

Mujibur Rahman Chowdhury Nixon, a member of parliament (MP) from the Faridpur-4 constituency inaugurated the branch as the chief guest while SM Parvez Tamal, chairman of the bank was in the chair.

Other local elites were also present on the occasion.

Speaking at the event, Nixon Chowdhury urged the authorities of NRBC Bank to provide technology based banking services at the doorsteps of clients. 

He said, Bhanga upazila will be a role model of development of southern and western parts of the country. Meanwhile, he sought cooperation from all to continue the development work to turn the upazila into a modern one.

Parvez Tamal said, NRBC Bank wants to be connected with all development work of the country. 

He said, during this pandemic the bank not only stands beside SME Entrepreneurs but also farmers of the country.

"NRBC Bank always provides state-of-the-art technology based services to the customers," he continued.

Among others from the bank, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Harunur Rashid, Head of FI and ADC Division Kazi Md Safayet Kabir, Head of Security Management Division Farhad Sarker and Bhanga Branch Manager Abdul Halim were present on the occasion.

During the ceremony, a special Munajat was held seeking divine blessings of the Almighty for the welfare, progress and prosperity of the bank.

A few significant services the bank provides include Home Loan 999, cash transaction facility, remittance service, fund transfer, utility bill (gas, water, electricity) collection, BRTA fees collection, land registration fees collection, all kinds of card services and internet banking.
