Mercantile Bank holds discussion on 50 years of independence

Mercantile Bank Limited has organised a virtual discussion and prayer on the occasion of the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman through a virtual platform on Wednesday.

Morshed Alam MP, chairman of the Board of Directors of Mercantile Bank, joined the program virtually as chief guest while MD and CEO, Md Quamrul Islam Chowdhury, presided over the program.

Freedom Fighter Al-Haj Akram Hossain (Humayun) and M Amanullah, vice chairman; Md Anwarul Haque, chairman of Executive Committee and Risk Management Committee; AKM Shaheed Reza, chairman of Mercantile Bank Foundation; MA Khan Belal, chairman of Mercantile Bank Securities; ASM Feroz Alam and Md Abdul Hannan, directors of the bank; spoke at the event.

Mati Ul Hasan, additional managing director; and Abu Asghar G Haruni, company secretary of the bank; also attended the program.
