Mercantile Bank to collect bill for Chattogram Wasa
As per the agreement, Mercantile Bank will use real time online banking system to collect bills from the customers of Chattogram Wasa
Customers who get water supply and sewerage services from Chattogram Wasa can now pay their bills at branches of Mercantile Bank Limited. The bank recently signed an agreement with the Chattogram Wasa in this connection, said a press release.
Deputy Managing Director of Mercantile Bank Adil Raihan and Chattogram Wasa's Deputy Managing Director Golam Hossain signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations at Chattogram Wasa headquarters in the port city.
As per the agreement, Mercantile Bank will use real time online banking system to collect bills from the customers of Chattogram Wasa.

Jashim Uddin, senior vice president and zonal head of Mercantile Bank in Chattogram and Mesbah Uddin Ahmed, senior vice president and head of the bank's Agrabad branch were present at the signing ceremony along with Tapon James Rozario, acting head of the bank's institutional liability marketing division.
From Chattogram Wasa, Managing Director Engineer AKM Fazlullah, Chief Engineer Maksud Alam, Company Secretary Fahmida Mostafa, Chief Accounts Officer Md Jakir Hossain Bhuiyan and System Analyst Shafiqul Bashar were present at the ceremony along with other senior officials from both the organisations.
