Janata Bank officer wins 4th place in Ultra Trail Marathon

Arifur Rahman Belal, principal officer of Janata Bank Limited (JBL), secured 4th place in the Ultra Trail Marathon held in Moulvibazar on Friday.
He reached the finishing point in four hours and 18 minutes, completing the 50-kilometre route of the marathon held in Shamsernagar of Kamalganj upazila.
Previously, he earned 2nd place in the Marine Drive Ultra Marathon (50 kilometres); 8th place, in four hours and eight minutes, crossing the Bangla Channel (16.1 kilometres); 12th place in the Bangabandhu International Marathon (42.20 kilometres) in three hours 20 minutes; and 6th place in the Bangladesh Trail Marathon (42.20 kilometres).
The runner has also competed in around 20 half-marathons held in different parts of the country.
