Jamuna Bank holds 13th EGM

Jamuna Bank has held its 13th Extra-Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) through Virtual Platform on December 9, 2020.
Chairman of the board of directors Fazlur Rahman presided over the meeting, according to a press release.
Among others, Al-Haj Nur Mohammed, chairman of Jamuna Bank Foundation, Md Mahmudul Hoque, chairman of Executive Committee, Engineer AKM Mosharraf Hussain, chairman of Risk Management Committee and other Directors of the Bank attended the virtual EGM.

Managing Director and CEO Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed, Company Secretary MA Rouf and a large number of shareholders also attended the EGM.
The meeting approved the issuance of unsecured, contingent-convertible, BASEL III compliant, perpetual bond of BDT 4,000 million as part of Additional Tier I regulatory Capital with conversion features.
