IBBL achieves ICAB National Award

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited has achieved '20th ICAB National Award' for the 'best presented annual reports 2019' under the category of corporate governance. 

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi handed over the award to JQM Habbullah deputy managing director and company secretary of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited in a programme on 26 November 2020 at a hotel in the capital, reads a press release. 

Dr Jafar Uddin, commerce secretary, Dr Md Hamid Ullah Bhuiyan, chairman of Financial Reporting Council, Muhammad Farooq, president of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) and Md Ashraful Haque, executive vice president and CFO of IBBL were present in the programme among others.
