Dr Nuran Nabi receives Ekushey Padak

Noted writer and a director of the NRBC Bank Limited Dr Nuran Nabi received Ekushey Padak-2020 for his contribution to the language and literature.

He received this prestigious award from the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at an event held at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital on last Thursday.

Some of the notable books he writes are— Bullets of '71: A Freedom Fighter's Story, Amar Ekattor Amar Juddho, Jonmechi A Banglay, Bangladeshe Pakistanider Juddhaporadh O President Nixon-Dr Kissingerer Dai, Amerikay Jahanara Imamer Sesh Dinguli, Jonmo Jhorer Bangladesh, Char Tarar Alo, and Onibarjo Muktijuddho.

Earlier in 2017, Dr Nuran Nabi was awarded Bangla Academy Fellowship for his contribution to literature on liberation war.
