Covid-19: SIBL urges clients to use mobile app for safer banking

By using this app, customers can enjoy multiple banking and bill payment facilities

To avoid frequent visit to branch premises during the time of Covid-19 pandemic, the Social Islami Bank Limited urged its clients to use its secured mobile apps 'SIBL Now' from anywhere round the clock.

By using this app, the customers can enjoy multiple facilities including, intra-bank and interbank fund transfer, utility bill payments of Dpdc, Wasa, Desco, Titas and many others. 

The customers can also easily make payments for their credit card bills of the bank. 

Another major service of this app is mobile top up and money transfer to bkash account, the media statement read.

Besides, customers can also know account details for both deposit and investment accounts, mini statement, balance inquiry, cheque book requisition and many other banking services of the bank using this app.

This app is equipped with the most modern secured technology system which is tagged with the device of the customers through IMEI number and they can register up to three devices for a single SIBL account. 

Two-steps verification method for fund transfer and banking services has been used for more authentication and security. Confidentiality of password/PIN/security code must be strictly ensured. The customer can download the SIBL Now app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store, the media release said.
