City Bank declares 3rd quarter financial performance

City Bank on Monday organised an earning disclosure webcast event on 3rd quarter financial performances of the current year. 

Existing and potential investors across the globe, researchers and analysts and many other individuals involved in capital market activities joined the event through web platforms, read a press release.

Consolidated Earnings Per Share (EPS) of the bank was recorded at Tk3.04 for the period from January to September 2020 against that of Tk2.58 during the same period last year. 

The bank also reported Tk3,086 million Consolidated After Tax Profit during the three quarters of the year 2020, which was Tk2,622 million during the same period of previous year.

The event started with the presentation on the recent financial performance of the bank by Md Mahbubur Rahman, DMD and chief financial officer of the bank.

Mashrur Arefin, managing director and CEO of the bank, also delivered a speech briefly discussing current strategic positioning of the bank. 

After that, the event was opened for a lively question and answer session, where participants shared their concerns and queries with the management of the bank.

The event is one of many continuous efforts by the bank to scale up investor relation initiatives to cater to the needs of this community, the press statement added.
