Al-Arafah Islami Bank donates Tk5 crore to prime minister’s relief fund

All Employees of the Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited also donated one day’s salary, which amounted to Tk83.18 lakh, to the Prime Minister’s Relief and Welfare Fund

The Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited has donated Tk5 crore to the Prime Minister's Relief and Welfare Fund to combat the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Bangladesh Association of Banks Chairman Md Nazrul Islam Majumdar handed over the cheque to Mohammad Shameem Mushfiq, assignment officer of the prime minister on Sunday, said a press release.

All Employees of the Al-Arafah Islami Bank also donated one day's salary, which amounted to Tk83.18 lakh, to the Prime Minister's Relief and Welfare Fund.
