Al-Arafah Islami Bank brings ‘Islamic Wallet’

With “Islamic Wallet”, the users will be able to make their daily transactions, bill payment, account management, etc. using mobile phones

Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited has brought "Islamic Wallet", a mobile money transaction service, with the assistance of D-Money Bangladesh Limited.

This is the first-ever shariah-based mobile money transaction service in the country. By "Islamic Wallet", the users will be able to make their daily transactions, bill payment, account management, etc. using mobile phones.

Bangladesh Bank Governor Fazle Rabbi inaugurated the service on Tuesday at a programme held in the Grand Ballroom of the capital's La Meridien Hotel. 

Al-Arafah Bank's Chairman Alhaj Abdus Samad Labu, Managing Director and CEO of the Bank Farman R Chowdhury addressed the program.

Deputy Governor of the Bangladesh Bank, councillors of Islamic Financial Services Board, directors of Al-Arafah Islami Bank and others were also present at the programme.
