Abdul Wadud new DMD of NRB Bank

NRB Bank Limited has appointed Md Abdul Wadud as its new deputy managing director (DMD).

Prior to the appointment, Wadud was the Deputy Managing Director of The City Bank Limited.

Starting his career as management trainee of Eastern Bank Limited in January 1996, he worked as branch manager, unit head corporate banking and head of Structured Finance at the bank and later on joined City Bank in 2011 as head of Credit Risk Management.

During his tenure in City Bank, Wadud served as chief risk officer, head of credit risk management, CAMLCO in addition to looking after Supply Chain Finance, Legal and Special Asset Management Division at various times joining the bank in June 2011.

Wadud did his MSc in statistics from Jahangirnagar University and also completed an MBA from Victoria University, Australia.
