AB Bank gets new independent director

He is a seasoned banker with 40 years of banking experience
Shafiqul Alam joined the AB Bank as an independent director, says a press statement issued on Monday.
Alam, a seasoned banker with 40 years of banking experience, served in different senior management positions in local and multinational banks.
He obtained his MSc degree from the University of Dhaka.
He started his career with ANZ Grindlays Bank Bangladesh in 1980 and then served the Prime Bank, First Security Islami Bank, United Commercial Bank and finally retired from Jumuna Bank as its managing director.
