21st AGM of Standard Bank Limited held

The 21st Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Standard Bank Limited was held at 11:30 am on Thursday through digital platform.

Mr Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed, Chairman of the Board of Directors, International Director of Lions Clubs International and former President of FBCCI presided over the meeting.

Chairman Mr. Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed presented the Annual Report 2019 of the Bank and Directors' Report before the Hon'ble Shareholders.

Shareholders present in the AGM duly approved all agenda including 5 percent stock and 5 percent cash dividend for the year 2019

He sincerely thanked all the esteemed Clients and Shareholders of the Bank for their active participation and sincere cooperation and wished them all the best.

Managing Director & CEO Mr Khondoker Rashed Maqsood delivered welcome speech to the participants at the outset of the meeting.

Vice Chairman Mr Md Zahedul Hoque, Directors Messers Kamal Mostafa Chowdhury, Ashok Kumar Saha, Ferozur Rahman, Md Monzur Alam, SAM Hossain, Al-Haj Mohammed Shamsul Alam, Mohammed Abdul Aziz, Ferdous Ali Khan, Al-Haj Mohd. Yousuf Chowdhury, Kazi Khurram Ahmed, Md Abul Hossain, Najmul Huq Chaudhury and Md Nazmus Salehin, Managing Director & CEO Khondoker Rashed Maqsood, Additional Managing Director Md. Tariqul Azam, Deputy Managing Director Md. Motaleb Hossain, Acting Group Company Secretary Mr. Md. Ali Reza, FCMA, and a large number of Shareholders and External Auditors of the Bank also attended the meeting on virtual platform.
