The Civil Aviation Authority of Oman has suspended all international passenger flights following a decision made by the country's Supreme Committee dealing with Covid-19.

However, cargo flights will remain out of the purview of the restriction, read a notification issued by the Civil Aviation Authority.

The decision will take effect from Tuesday 1am (local time of Oman), the advisory added.

Earlier on the day, Biman Bangladesh Airlines scraped its flights to Oman for a week following the country's step of restrictions over a new variant of Covid.
